Importance of Understanding

Once there was a farmer and he had some puppies to sell. He advertised that and nailed the advertisement on the edge of his yard. Another day a boy came and said, “I want to buy one of your puppies”. Then farmer told him that the puppies will cost a good amount of money. The boy pulled out a handful of dollars and held it up to the farmer. “I’ve got around $15, Is that enough to take a look?”

“Sure,” said the farmer.

When the farmer let out a whistle, many dogs came out and boy became very happy. Many dogs and puppies were coming close to farmer. But one dog  in a somewhat awkward manner began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up.

After looking that dog who was not able to walk properly the boy said, “I want that one”.

The farmer knelt down at the boy’s side and said, “Son, do you really want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would.”

With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. In doing so he let out  a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself  to a specially made shoe. Looking back up at the farmer, he said, “You see sir, I don’t run too well myself, and he will need someone who understands.”

So friends… If you have someone who understands you, that means, you have found a TREASURE.
